TopForm and AIX Version 5

TopForm is aware that IBM is on a campaign to upgrade all of its users
on RS6000 servers from AIX version 4 to version 5.x . They are informing their customers that they will no longer support version 4. To better assist you with this upgrade, we are creating a test environment. We have purchased the Version 5 license and an additional RS6000 and are testing TopForm and all related 3rd party products.

We hope to complete testing by May 31, 2004. We suggest that you purchase the upgrade directly from IBM. Our support department should be contacted before the update is performed so that we can schedule personnel to be available if needed.

Did you know that you can keep vendor disbursement statistics in addition to purchases and adjustments? Turn enable this feature follow these instructions.

First go to ZZ2MDX and add Disbursements as the third statistic type. Then go to your Accounts Payable Parameters and add Disbursements as a statistic type you want to track and the number of prior years to track them. That it! These statistics will begin accumulated with your very next check run.
