The TopForm Grouping Analysis report has been modified to provide an option to exclude items from printing. The exclusion would be triggered if the item were obsolete or inactive, or if the Reorder Point Quantity and Reorder Point Days were zero or blank.

The following screen shots illustrate the entries necessary to trigger this new reporting option.

The new TopForm module called the TopForm Sage Connection is now in beta testing. We are confident that it will be ready for general release early fourth quarter. This new module provides TopForm Web.ec users with the following additional features.

• Product Catalog information including pricing, long descriptions and images for up to 800,000 items are received real-time via the Sage XML datastream and made part of your Web.ec product catalogs.
• As customers place orders, those orders update to your TopForm shopping cart, right along side orders for items to be released from your warehouse or variable print or office products orders.
• Items that are new to your TopForm data files are automatically set up via the TopForm Product Catalog Gateway at the time of the order confirmation.
• Customers can upload images or logo files and enter special instructions that get attached to the order.
• TopForm creates the purchase order to the manufacturer. These purchase orders can be reviewed prior to release or they can be automatically emailed or faxed to the manufacturer.

Minimum Markup

There is a parameter available in the Accounts Receivable Customer Defaults, screen two, (see below) that allows you to set a minimum mark-up percentage on a customer-by-customer basis.

If a percentage is entered in this field, and if the price associated with an order line has a markup less than this percentage, then the price will automatically be recalculated.

Jimmy Farley

Please join us in welcoming Jimmy Farley as the newest member of TopForm's Software Development Team. A Georgia native, Jimmy has been in the Marietta area since 1995. He comes to TopForm with eight years of experience in programming in such languages as Pick Basic and Visual Basic. Jimmy also has an MS in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University. We are very excited to have Jimmy as a member of the TopForm team!
