TopForm offers many options when it comes to reporting, both in the sheer number of reports available, as well as in the alternatives available at run-time. However, did you know that you also have the option to place your, or your customer's logo on your TopForm standard reports? If you didn't, this article will provide you with the instructions on how to accomplish these as well as other report formatting options.

If you are already taking advantage of the PDF Printing feature within TopForm, you already have a PDF Device setup. If not, you can replicate the sample setup shown in the full article.

TopForm has added a new feature to the Variable Print Option for Web.ec that allows the VPO Administrator to define item specific lists by selecting any two data input fields from the dropdown menus.

Audit Reports

Did you know that if you have the TopForm Image Library, you can reprint any TopForm Journal or Audit Report from any Journal Printing program?

As one example, below is the Detail Transaction Register printing option. By clicking the see Images button, you have the option of choosing the Audit Report you wish to view or reprint.

QBF

Selling the Total Package

In 2004, QBF was using vendor supplied websites to process many of their business card orders. This certainly was a big improvement over handling these types of orders manually. As business card orders are typically small and have a high potential for error, allowing the customers to order on line improved efficiency and offloaded the responsibility for proofing. However, today, QBF is doing more than saving time on the proofing process. "We are selling the total package," says Brian Selvig. "And the TopForm Variable Print Option to Web.ec is a big part of that."

In 2005, QBF implemented the TopForm Variable Print Option and today customers can go on line and order Business Cards, Name Tags, Letterhead, Postcards, Brochures, and much more, all in one single shopping experience. This makes it easier for the customer. The orders go to a preselected vendor who provides the best quality and price for that particular item. That's better for QBF and their bottom line.

TopForm Welcomes Two New Employees

Leitha Smith

Please join us in welcoming Leitha Smith as the newest member of the TopForm support team. A North Carolina native, Leitha has been in the Atlanta area since 1994. She comes to TopForm with almost thirteen years of experience in software support, training, implementation, and programming. Leitha also has two degrees. Her first was in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina and her second degree was in Computer Science from Appalachian State University.

Leitha has one 22 year old son, who recently graduated from the University of Georgia on a full academic scholarship. His focus was Asian Studies. Leitha loves books, movies, and music.

We believe Leitha will be a great asset to TopForm and our customers.

Sabrina Jacobs

We also ask that you join us in welcoming Sabrina Jacobs as the newest member of the TopForm marketing department. Sabrina is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and only recently moved to the Atlanta area with her family.

Sabrina and her husband, Leo Jacobs, have five children, the oldest of which will be attending Fisher College this fall. Sabrina has over ten years of telephone and customer service experience.

Sabrina's positive attitude and excellent people skills will be an asset to TopForm's marketing efforts. We believe Sabrina will be an excellent addition to the TopForm team.

TopForm® Employee Says "I Do"

The management team of TopForm has been meeting to put together the final program for the 2007 TopForm Client Conference and although we're not ready to release it just yet, we did want to share some of the topics we have planned and solicit any additional input regarding topics that you would like to see added.

In last month's letter from the President, Brian Fritsche announced that we will be holding a new kind of meeting reserved exclusively for the principals, owners, and CEO's of our customers. We hope that you will join Warner Mason, President and CEO of Webb Mason, Brian Fritsche and Julie Pritchard for dinner and high level discussions regarding business and technology strategies.

Denise Montroy, TopForm's VP of Technology will head up a concurrent event designed specifically for your CIO's, CTO's and System Administrators. Other key TopForm Developers will be present for these discussions.

During the Conference, Doug Traxler, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for Webb Mason will also be on hand to share his insight into the state of the industry and to participate in a panel with other users on how to sell e-commerce. And, speaking of e-commerce, we will also be unveiling our new e-commerce platform which is certain to satisfy even the most challenging of your customers' demands. This site currently supports over $50 million dollars per year in annual revenue with over 420 active sites and 330,000 active users.

Of course, there will be lots of educational sessions as well. As in the past, there will be a full day of classroom training on a variety of topics preceding the conference and many educational break-out sessions during the conference. Here are a few of the sessions we have planned so far:
